BADUNG, BALI – The Class I Immigration Office TPI Denpasar has officially transferred three problematic foreign nationals to the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) in Jimbaran, Badung, Bali.
The transfer was executed directly by the Intelligence and Enforcement Division (Inteldakim) following the completion of administrative checks.
The three individuals involved include:
ECO (34) – A Nigerian male who attempted to flee when he failed to produce a valid passport. Charged under Article 78 Paragraph (3) of Law No. 6 of 2011 on Immigration.
PJU (40) – A Nigerian male who also attempted to escape after failing to present an official passport. Charged under Article 116 in conjunction with Article 71 Letter (b) and Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 6 of 2011.
OM (61) – A Lebanese male reported for overstaying his stay permit by 378 days. Charged under Article 71 Letter (b) in conjunction with Article 116 and Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 6 of 2011.
Head of the Class I Immigration Office TPI Denpasar, R. Haryo Sakti, emphasized that this enforcement demonstrates a concrete commitment to law enforcement within his jurisdiction.
"Every foreign national residing in Indonesia must comply with applicable regulations. We continue to monitor and take professional, measured, and humane actions to ensure safety and order," Sakti stated.
Echoing this statement, Head of the Regional Office of the Bali Directorate General of Immigration, Ramdhani, issued a firm reminder to all foreign visitors on the island, reiterating that legal violations will be dealt with strictly according to regulations to maintain public order in Bali.
